What is a Champion? Our members certainly know... its our whole community made up of people with Down syndrome and their loved ones who persevere every day for whats right. This Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we have recruited a lot of names and faces you recognize to help get this message across - WBZ-TV anchor Jonathan Elias, boxer George Foreman III, Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, Sox hurler Craig Breslow, Dr. Charles Steinberg of the Red Sox, former Celtic Dana Barros, Mayor Marty Walsh and WBZ-TV sportscaster Steve Burton. After all, having made it to the top of their field themselves, they should know what makes a Champion.
