What is a Filipino? Do we still have an identity? 400 years of - TopicsExpress

What is a Filipino? Do we still have an identity? 400 years of Spanish colonial rule, 50 years of American colonial rule (This is according to our history books made by the Americans. But in reality, not only 50 years, but until present time) and 3 years of Japanese invasion. President Marcos highlighted this topic on an interview with a foreign media (I watched it on YouTube). Just take a look at our coat of arms. The symbol of American Bald Eagle (blue field) and Spains Lion Rampant (red field) are still there, representing the Philippines colonial past. Thats already a proof that this fake Republic is still under the Spanish and American colonial rule. A version of the coat of arms without the colonial charges was passed by Congress in 1998, but it remains unofficial as no referendum was called. Im really curious, why? US intervention again? Even the name of our country, the Philippines, has a major issue. We all know that the name Philippines came from the name of an imperialist King. The sad part is, only one President thought about changing the name of our country (Who is he? Please keep reading). The rest? They didnt care about it. It may be a little issue for some. But in my honest opinion, this little issue can make or break the future of our motherland. Lots of ignorant PINOYS have no clue about what the US Government is really planning and capable of doing. The US Government still has a huge influence in our government (At wag mo nang tangkaing sumuway sa mga utos nila). No one will ever dare to change the rules because we were all brainwashed by American propaganda. Do you still remember President Marcos Bagong Lipunan or New Society? Hes the only President who dared to get our REAL independence. Never listen to the bias news. He never did it just for power. Macoy is very intelligent. Hes not dumb. Now you know the real power of American propaganda. One more thing, did you know that Marcos really wanted to change the name of our country from Philippines to Maharlika? Instead a name of an imperialist King, why not a high class term instead? Marcos always thought that we Filipinos should always be treated as nobles and high class citizens of this planet. Marcos wants to revive the Filipino identity that was stolen by the imperialists. So his wife, Imelda Marcos, focused on promoting the Filipino culture all over the world. Thats when our music, food, clothing, etc. became widely known all over the world. Patriotism Level: ASIAN!!! Marcos planned to change our stupid history and culture, but the CIA intervened and killed Ninoy just to bring Marcos down. Its like hitting two birds in one stone for the American imperialists. :)) The US Government is really afraid of losing their grip over the Philippines. Why? Because the Philippines is in a very strategic location. Ever wondered why Japan and South Korea became rich while the Philippines was left behind? Because the United States helped them, supported them and permitted them to become rich. Try to think of this. If the Philippines will be economically rich, a military superpower and wont rely in the United States anymore, Im 101% sure that the US will completely lose their grip over the Philippines and this country will have closer ties with the rapidly growing China. This is the main reason why the US wants us to remain a poor nation. I think Bagong Lipunan or New Society was the ultimate goal of President Marcos for this country. To revive the Filipino identity and completely remove all wrong history and bad culture in our society. Unfortunately, all his efforts turned into waste. Imbis na Great Leap Forward na sana, naging Great Leap Backward pa. Stop being brainwashed people. Lets all unite to remove the curse of colonial mentality! By the way, Im not bias in any way. This is 101% personal opinion based on my thorough research of our history. I was not paid by anyone to write this. Im not a sympathizer of anyone. I dont support any group. Im not against the American people. I dont hate the Aquinos. Im not a Marcos fan either. I just want my fellow patriotic Filipinos (kung may natitira pa) to wake up and see the real truth. Remove that blindfold! Always remember, never rely on our history books alone. Have other sources of good information and do more research. Most of our history books were made by the Americans. Paano ko nasabi? May kasabihan: The history is always made by the people who won the war. :D
