What is a mother?(my definition).Is she the woman who spent 9mnths carrying you and then went through hrs of agony giving birth to you?.Nah any mug can do that.Shes the woman who has wiped your tears,your nose and your backside.Shes the woman who screamed and shouted for you to win the race Shes the woman who fetched you a clatter that was a little harder than she meant to and then cried all night over you(even though you deserved far worse).Shes the woman who begged God to bring you home safe when you didnt arrive on time.Shes the woman who has fought in the street in defence of you.Shes the woman who gave up her dinner when you came home unexpectedly with a friend in tow.Shes the woman who stood silently by with broom in hand waiting to sweep up the mess of your love life and never once said i told you so,and she....is the woman who when it was time to untie the apron strings and let you go used the apron to stifle her sobs when no one was around to hear.Children,they make your arms ache when theyre little and oh God how they make your heart ache when they grow up.
