What is a pet name that you like a certain someone to call you? Do you have a compliment that you adore hearing; something that blesses you? Jim called me "his bride." I liked that. We were married 30 years and I was always, "his bride." Even across a crowded room, we had a love-language. When we got eye-contact, there was love, respect and adoration there. Husbands, wives, families have there own special way of communicating. Even as these special words of endearment, joy and encouragement bless us here on earth and bring joy to our days; there is a better word coming for Christians! There will be none sweeter than hearing Jesus say, "Well done good and faithful servant!" Matthew 25:21. May we keep our communication with Jesus open, loving, real and constant. There is no greater love than His.
