What is all the hype about????!!!! I had no idea what or who Duck Dynasty was until a couple of months ago. When I asked, I heard an astounded gasp...Really, youve never watched Duck Dynasty?! Of course I was promptly educated on the subject...absorbing a string of words here and there in between incessant yawns. The first time I heard of Duck Dynasty was while Haley was visiting Missouri. She sent out a group text message about everyone in Missouri looking like they had just stepped off the set of Duck Dynasty. Of course this was followed by an LOL. I didnt get it. I thought she was referencing an athletic team out of Oregon and I wondered what made Missourians look like Oregonians. Then I started seeing t-shirts of old men with beards and the words Duck Dynasty. What the heck? Hence, I was curious enough to ask someone. Well...its a Sunday night and Ive been sitting here minding my own business, doing my thing...and all of a sudden, those old bearded men are on my TV screen. So, I watched, at least for a short time. I figured I better try and catch up on modern culture. What in the world?! Really? Are there people out there who actually watch this? I found it to be the most contrived nothingness since Soap Operas in the 1970s. Do people really follow this stuff?
