What is better to compel foreign companies operating in Zimbabwe - TopicsExpress

What is better to compel foreign companies operating in Zimbabwe to pay taxes or to transfer shares to locals?: Taxes are easier to collect and redistribute to Zimbabweans than Shares therefore wise amendments to the Indigenisation law should compel foreign investors to transfer reasonable fair amounts of tax payments to the Zimbabwe Government of they day not to transfer shares. The Government of the day will then use those transferred taxes to finance projects, business, goods and services needed by Zimbabweans. Its now 7 years after introduction of Indigenisation Policy and Law of compelling foreign investors to transfer 51% shares to the local Zimbabweans and yet upto this day there is no clear accountability of how many shares have been transferred and how much monetary benefit has accrued to the Zimbabweans. If they were taxes being paid by foreign investors, it would be easier to track. Manje kana ari mashares, very few of our people understand what shares are and how they operate. Why should we do things that are difficult for the mass to understand? Ngatiite zvemutero zvinonzwisiswa neruzhinji rweZimbabwe tongoti mwedzi kana gore roga roga, vose vanobva kune dzimwe nyika vane mabusiness munyika medu vanofanira kubhadhara mutero wakati kuhurumende yenyika iyo inozofanirwa kupa mari iyo kuruzhinji. Mari dzacho dzoverengeranwa kwete zvemashares zvisinganzwisiswi neruzhinji..
