Check here and find out! :) THANKSGIVING BREAK: *Wednesday Nov. 26th is EARLY RELEASE (12:30)* *NO SCHOOL November 27th & 28th* 11/11 (TUE) 1-DAY ONLY: NO SCHOOL DUE TO VETERANS DAY! We still have school on Monday and Wednesday next week, just NOT ON TUESDAY, November 11th, due to Veterans Day (1 day only). Thank you to all who have served in the U.S. Army! 11/19 (WED): AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE AT LAA, 2-6 PM! We will be holding a public blood drive from 2-6 PM in our multi-purpose room. To schedule your appointment or for more information, contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767 or log on to redcrossblood.org and enter Sponsor Code: LibertyArts . Thank you for helping save lives! 11/19 (WED): MONTHLY PTO MEETING, 6 PM! Please join us for our monthly PTO meeting to discuss final details of the Fall Festival, and other upcoming activities events for our students and families. We hold a monthly PTO meeting every 3rd Wednesday of the month. Join us if you can, we would love to visit with you! 11/20 (THUR): LAAS ANNUAL SCHOOL SPELLING BEE, 9 AM! 2 students per classroom from 3rd - 8th grade will be competing to win or school-wide spelling bee. Each grade level will be sending 2 top spellers to this bee. The classroom spelling bees will be happening in individual classrooms on different dates prior to this event. Please contact your childs teacher if you would like to watch the classroom spelling bee. Otherwise, we will see you at our school-wide spelling bee on Thursday, November 20th at 9 AM! Good luck Bulldogs! 11/21 (FRI): LAAS ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL, 5-8 PM! Come and join us for our BIGGEST event of the year! Our Annual Fall Festival will include 20+ vendor booths, carnival games, delicious food trucks, fantastic raffle prizes donated by local businesses, themed gift basket auction, bouncers, competitive obstacle course, hot chocolate, kettle korn, face paining, hay bales, music/DJ, dancing and MUCH MORE! Interested in donating a raffle prize? Please contact our front office at 480-830-3444. Hope to see all of our families there! 11/26 (WED): LAAS ANNUAL TURKEY TROT! PK-2nd graders (8:30-9:30), 3rd-8th graders (9:30-10:30). All LAA students will be participating in the Turkey Trot. This is a fun event to burn a few extra calories before Thanksgiving. Coach Hay needs parent volunteers to help count laps and marshal the course. Please call the front office at 480-830-3444 if you can help. Trot on Bulldogs!
