What is happening in Egypt is a great mess! Mubarak loyals doing their best to fully return to power and impose the former regime police-led state mentality! Leftists of Nasser wishing the return of the 60s military dictatorship in the name of 30 June demonstrations! Security and intelligence bodies playing in the background and often brutally! Frustrated highly religious and impoverished rural population! And few voices in the government, in the 50 people committee and in the streets of the main cities still pushing for a late victory of the 25th January revolution beautiful aspirations and dreams! From the country of the corrupted old people, to the country of the fanatic long beard people, to a country of semi corrupted old confused and brutalized people, to a long way to go!!! Some old and young figures and voices still stand though! For me they are the little hope left! Would they last?! 25th January 2011, how far could you seem now? Bread, Freedom and Social Justice! May the coming constitution and elections put the country on the right track! Very difficult without a truly open societal dialogue recognizing the truth of our divided society.
