What is it about the Internet that makes people lose grip on their common sense? Im constantly seeing people posting ludicrous news stories or shared garbage that a simple Google search would prove its obvious fraudulence. A friend of a friend had a story posted today about a cannibalistic Death Row inmate being granted a last meal of a child, and the replies are enraged and appalled, but not one questioning its validity. Every few weeks or so I see someone posting the garbage about how if a certain day of the week lands on a certain place on the calendar its some Chinese prophecy that only happens every 800 years or some such and will grant millions of dollars but ONLY if you like and share! Also, Bill Gates isnt giving $500 to everyone who shares a poorly Photoshopped picture of him holding up a sign. Come on, people. Use your brains.
