What is it with this mob mentality in Nigeria about issues of national discourse? The chorus today is Oduah must go. Jonathan must sack aviation minister. And everybody, join in the frenzy. The senate, the House of Reps, expired politicians, season professional protesters, the media, market women and the list is endless. If I may ask, what actually is the issue here? Is it that the car was too expensive for a government functionary? If that the issue why are we not raising eye-brow over Governor Fasholas three cars that cost N200 million each? Or Amaechi private jet? Or is it that she allegedly compel Egin Fola Akinkuotu, NCAA boss to buy the cars for her? Again, all agencies buy luxury gifts for their ministers in this country, how many contractor has to give almost all the monies needed to execute a project as bribe to government official? What are Dino Melaye and his hired protesters doing about that? Is it that she is corruptly enriching herself? In her world, corruption as the norm.
