What is on my mind....... The US Postal Service that is what. The cost is now .49 cents to mail a piece of basic first class mail. If the cost increase was justified I could see it but the problem with the US postal services is they have over a billion dollars locked up for the employee pension fund and the laws governing them mandate that payment into this fund be made in advance even though there is over a billion dollars in this fund........ That is asinine!!! The US postal service is shooting themselves in the foot. Lower mailing means less revenue so what is the point in raising the mailing rate????? There is none. You mail out five pieces of mail a month times twelve months that comes out to be $29.40…. No thank you I will do online payments and apply the money saved towards a bill. Good news about the rate increase is you do not get a lot of junk mail.
