What is on my mind is the word tragedy. It happened yesterday, a friend, a mom, a wife, a blessing in so many lives, died at 34 years old. A quick illness, a fatal end, an empty family. Boom, just like that! No warning, just life moving along. I cant lie, I am blind-sided and hurting beyond belief. This feeling is not a new one, but it is one I have not felt for many, many years and you know what?...it still hurts as bad as when it first happened. Tragedy will come in most peoples lives in way or another. It may come close or in the distance, but it is a part of life, a very painful part of life. It is a funny thing to me to keep functioning, working, talking, but know that a tragedy just happened. I cant stop it, fix it or avoid it and I have to keep marching forward like my brave friends family is doing. Knowing they have lost one of their parts to the family, but as the dad said to me just keep moving forward and feel the feelings. I am mourning, but with my big girl panties on and I cant lie it is very hard for me to do. For those that pray, please say a prayer for this family and if any extra please pray for me.
