What is really happening to the WESTERN PSYCHE !!!?? One might go nuts reading the original comments to this posting. And all the people said, His blood shall be on us and on our children! - Matthew wishes to put the responsibility for the murder of Jesus fair and square on the WHOLE JEWISH RACE, PRESENT & FUTURE, by making all the people cry out His blood be on us and on our children (Geza Vermes, p.234) The above sentence from the Bible gave impetus to Jewish pogrom.
