What is the deal with males and motors? Is this something that is just part of that testosterone thing? Because I just cant remember all those thingys that make an engine run. Or even the mechanics that make my wheels turn on my vehicle. I put gas in it and it goes. Thats all I need to know. Oh, and oil. Check that oil!! I have learned that the hard way, sad to say. But my mower is acting up. I thought it was a dead battery. So, got a new one, fought with the stupid corroded bolt yesterday until I FINALLY got the thing off. Poured coke on it and everything. But the bolt that was in there holding the battery was more like a button. Nothing to grab hold onto to keep it from turning so I could loosen the nut. But that wasnt it. So, I looked up online, what some more possible problems could be with it. And it seems there is a little fuse for the battery. If it is blown, it will not start. So, after hunting and hunting, I found the little fuse. And yes, it is blown. So, now I am off to find a fuse for my mower. But, my old truck is trying to run hot as well. My son-in-law said it got hot last Sunday when I hauled that big load of hay in. And he proceeded to try and tell me what it may or may not be. It hasnt run hot since then though. I am watching that as well. Dont want to burn up my engine. But when guys start talking about engines and how they work, my brain just shuts down I guess. I know I should be more interested in such things. But I am more interested in how a flower grows. Or how to cook okra and peas. Mechanical stuff and how they all work, well, my brain just isnt wired for that. I have Bubba for that. And now, a wonderful son-in-law who tries to watch over an old woman and her old truck. While Bubba is away. Thank God for that!!
