What is the general consensus of this group in regards to a secret space program? I feel we do have an exotic technology space program and that is partly why they cancelled the shuttle program. What I am wondering though is with NASAs recent press conference regarding Boeing and SpaceX sending astronauts back to space if they will break out the advanced technology they have had clandestinely or continue with chemical reaction based propulsion, i.e. rockets? There seems to be a trickle type disclosure going on and if that is indeed the case seems like a tremendous waste to create inferior technology.
