What is the purpose of a believer here on facebook? Is it to propagate Islaam? Is it for learning purposes? Or is it to get personally involved with non mahram male or female? I am shocked to hear from a brother who mentioned that a girl who supposedly seek knowledge had asked to share his personal life story and other information. We as students of this beautiful deen of Allaah need to re evaluate our intention as to the real purpose of us being here on facebook. This is a platform where we can become a winner or a great loser in the sight of Allaah. Dont we realise this facebook, twitter etc.. is being owned by the enemy of Allaah. This is the way they try to get into our heads and cause a fitnah for us. It is upto us to stand firm on the Tawheed and move forward positively in the cause of Allaah. When our hormones take over, we start seeing and imagining things and shaytaan takes control of us. The sisters/ brothers who freely chat in the name of deen I will say Itaqillaah Fear Allaah for indeed Allaah is nearer to us than our jugular vein. We need to search our hearts and souls and re connect with Allaah. Let not our desires destroy our purpose. Our posts determine which people will attract. I noticed on many posts people have more than 1000 comments when it is about love between people. When it comes to love for Allaah it gets 10 comments and few likes.. Dont get me wrong love is a part of all but we need to once again go back and evaluate ourselves and know our purpose. Unfortunately this Facebook had destroyed many good people ... And Alhamdulillaah it also helped many people in a positive Islamic way. Today I leave the choice in your beautiful capable hands.. LOSER OR WINNER THE DAY OF QIYAMAH? Courtesy: Rabiah Bilal
