What is the purpose of prayer? If its supposed to persuade God to change destiny, then what does that say about Gods plan? Also, if a campaign of public prayers helps someone in need, doesnt that mean that God will help famous people more than regular folks, or overlook people for whom others arent praying? If prayer is only meant to affect the mind of the person praying, by focusing it on righteous thoughts, or just offering comfort, why cant that be accomplished through ones own will, without invoking God? And how do you know the difference?
