What is the relationship between the Holy Spirit and Gods people ? He is the one who came upon Gods servants in the Old Testament for specific tasks. Numbers 11;(16-17) The Lord said to Moses; bring me seventy of Israels elders who are known to you as leaders and officials among the people. Make them come to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you. I will come down and speak with you there, and l will take of the Spirit that is on you and put the Spirit on them. They will help you carry the burden of the people so that you will not have to carry it alone. When they cried out to The Lord, he raised up for them a deliverer, Othniel son of Kenaz, Calebs younger brother, who saved them. The Spirit of The Lord came upon him, so that he became Osraels Judge. ( Judges 3:9-10). Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of The Lord came upon David in power(1 Samuel 16:13). Heavenly Father, renew my Spirit within me today in Jesus name!
