What is with people being outraged that their dogs were stolen from their yard, where they were left unattended? Would you leave a stack of cash in the backyard? A new TV? A diamond ring? My dogs are more precious to me than any of those things and I would never knowingly leave them in harms way. Oh, so your dog needs exercise? Great - walk him! Odds are, you need some too (no offense). Or go throw the ball for him. Or watch him from the window. I cant believe the number of people who have dogs stolen and then get another one and leave that one outside alone too. And for those who say, But he likes being out there. Does he now like being bait for dog fighting? Didnt think so. Besides, if your toddler liked going to the mall alone would you drop him off at 8am and pick him up at 4pm? Hell no. We are their GUARDIANS. It is your job to protect your dog. Yes, Im sure there are exceptions and stuff does happen...dogs get stolen from inside the home after break-ins, etc. But my point is - dont make it easy for people to harm your dog.
