What is within us is truly amazing, and one of the biggest shames of humanity is the fact that we keep it buried within ourselves rather than letting it out so that it can be of benefit to other people. We keep ourselves hidden because of our fear of rejection or failure or success, never once admitting to ourselves that keeping our potential hidden is one of the greatest forms of selfishness there is. And I say that not in judgment, but in acknowledgement of my own behavior in years past. Because I kept my potential bottled up inside of myself for so long, I spent years not giving to others things that I might easily have given; years not risking things that werent all that risky after all.
