What is wrong with Friedman School? My grandson is in school there and he has to stay after periodically. My daughter asked the teacher not to keep him after on a Monday or Tuesday as she has no way to pick him up. She works. So today, Tuesday, she kept him after and my daughter was expecting him home after school. She kept calling home to make sure he got home ok. No answer, no answer, no answer. Here it is 3:00 and still no answer. She had called her neighbors to look outside for him and to knock on the door. Nothing. She was frantic. She called me at work and I was frantic. Finally he called his Mom that he was home. Guess what? The teacher kept him after school. He asked to call his Mom and Grandmother (me) and she said no. She said she would call her. No one called her. He was outside the school with no ride home. He lives in the Whittenton area. Luckily my daughters boyfriends sister came to pick up her daughter and gave my grandson a ride home. Can you imagine what could have happened. Especially with all the child abductions going on. He is a child. My daughter is going to the school tomorrow to speak to this teacher and hopefully the principal. Inexcusable if you ask me.
