What is wrong with the majority of people 40 and under. They have 0 people skills. I just had an emt or nurse point at the blanket. warmer when I asked for a blanket for my grandson. I told him I wasnt on the clock getting paid . I also told him I would call and report him. He was a asswhole. This is a brand new facility , no patients , except lennox. We had awesome treatment by the nurse and doctor. But what ever that guy at the desk position is , playing on computer is probably not in his job description. Just because a person has a formal education, it does not teach common sense and patient relations. I would rather have a seasoned nurse or medical professional treat me and my family. The seasoned medical professional nurses are not being hired because the take and oath to put patient care first, and educate families and treat them respectful. So if you go to Good Shepard Medical center North in the early morning , be aware, you may have to get your own blanket. Since I am trying to practice good will towards men during this holiday season. I will not call the administration of this hospital and report him. I think asking him if he could take a minute to care gor the pt. And get off the computer in a loud voice at nurses station was enough to make him think about his position. Sorry I needed to vent
