What is your calling? You will never be fulfilled until you answer to your own calling. When I heard about Ebola outbreak in West Africa, I prayed that God may raise men and women that were called to help us all to tackle health issues, to go help the people in West Africa. I have a great respect for doctors, nurses and all the scientist that are working day and night, combating sickness and diseases that are trying to eliminate humanity. However, some people were completely astonished by the fact that some doctors travelled from abroad to risk their lives in Ebola stricken countries. Why would they go there putting their lives at risk. It is because they have a calling, they had to go there to help people. God expects them to do that. We all are called by God to fulfil a certain purpose in life. I respect everyone, drivers, chefs, cleaners, beauticians, artists, engineers, pastors, politicians, leaders, police officers, tailors, shoe repairers, pest controllers, designers, etc. We all are called by God to contribute in a positive way to humanity. We are therefore accountable to our calling which is from God. We can not fail to deliver and to serve others. Never despise anyone regardless of the work they do. And you must find your calling. What are you passionate about? Something that you can do even if you were not paid to do that, for you just love it and are drawn in to do that! You have great satisfaction after doing that and you never get tired of doing it. It is your calling. God has created you for that, now, go for it. Get training, a mentor and serve the world with your gift. I am a Pastor, it is my calling. I love leading people into the Kingdom of God by helping them to establish a relationship with God. I can go anywhere in the world to that. It gives me exceedingly great joy to see peoples lives, attitude and behaviour being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is my calling. Exodus 31:1-5 Artisans for Building the Tabernacle Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze, in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship. Now, whats your calling? Comment here and I will pray for you.
