What is your policy of Agriculture? DPP: We will continue with the fertiliser subsidy. PP; we will continue with presidential hand to mouth subsidies. UDF; we have our proven and cost effective starter-park; each subsistence farming family will receive 10kgs of fertiliser to mitigate effects of hunger. MCP; we will ensure subsistence farmers are supported through cheap inputs; to cater for the working population that cant be fed by subsistence farmer, and to reduce the cost of imports when there is food supply shortage, we will invest in large farmers, help them mechanise to reduce losses and bring down the cost of production hence market prices down with the overall aim of making the cost of food to a working population as lower as possible and exporting the surplus. Who is serious on food security at national level?
