What is your take on the enhancements made to CHAS? Tell us what you think [bit.ly/1dLTZyr] Since 1 Jan 2014, several enhancements have been made to the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) to better help low and middle income Singaporeans with their healthcare needs. Enhancements include: removal of age restrictions, widening of annual value of residence criterion for households, subsidies for recommended screenings under the Health Promotion Board’s Integrated Screening Programme, and increased chronic condition coverage. With more than 980 GP and dental clinics participating in CHAS, Singaporeans are able to receive subsidies for healthcare near their homes.
