What keeps you alive? Merely the arbitrary choice of God, and it can be retracted at any time according to His slightest whim. You breathe your next breath solely due to the fact that His hand sustains you, and He can choose to take that sustaining hand away from you at any given moment, and God will be more than justified in condemning you to the eternal flames of hell - you have broken Gods law, the 10 commandments.
