What kind of friends do you have? Did you ever think of friendship being a vital part of your relationship with God? Some friends will pull you away from or pull you down to lower standards that are not in tune with the Word of God. Some will pull you toward God by their very walk each day. There are some true friends in Gods Word that were willing to tear off a roof to get their friend to Jesus. There are those who will influence our dreams, some mentor us, and some connect us to other important relationships. Let us beware of friends who can send us in wrong directions. If we look around we will see many lives have been ruined because of bad influences. We need to discern those friends who would pull us down and set them aside. On the other hand, let us thank God for good friends. We should pray for them, encourage them, love and care for them because they are a gift from God. Read: Mark 2: 2-4
