What lovely weather and its not raining every day. I have been so busy. I have done some canning, yard work and prepared Thanksgiving dinner. I spent the last ten days in September at the trailer with my lake friends. Had a wonderful time. A bear was on the river banks at the end of August so had to be careful not to run into one. Skunks were also around as usual. Trailer is closed for the season, packed away and closed down now until next spring. David caught about a dozen pickerel on the last weekend when he came out. He beat all the shore fishermen. In 10 days I caught three but lost a lot more due to snags. Lost a lot of stuff due to reeds and other snags. It was still fun. Missing the trailer and river already. Long winter ahead.
