What makes a 18 year old young man - score a 32 on his ACT - attend a college/university with cost exceeding $30k a year - tutor for income - give music lessons for income - work at a local restaurant for income - and may, just may have time between his schedule inquire to wash some cars for me to help go toward his books, fees and gas cost? Its CHARACTER. Its a Mother and Father who have raised him to work and earn not whine and demand. Im sharing the story but not the name because I did not ask permission. This excites me. Im tired of the student debt - financial aid - loans and woes. Some just simply dont get it because they were not parented. My advice to those, Im truly sorry that your were not raised in a different manner but its time to choose, today who you wish to be and not what others may ben inclined to think was the only way. This makes me want to go to work now!
