What makes a great marriage or relationship? A happy marriage or relationship is the union of two good forgivers. It is only Gods word that makes foundation of great marriage or relationship. Great marriage or relationship is a form of equation, Gods prescription + our committed effort = marital fullness. These are the principles of great marriage or relationship. G--------> Giving R--------> Relating E--------> Edifying A--------> Allowing your mate to be Gods person T--------> Touching. The fact that the person your friend is dating is behaving well dose not mean they wount go through some crises and the fact that your relationship is going through crises does not mean is not going to work. Every relationship is a book, it depend on where you are in your book, so your first chapter could be something like romance, your second chapter could be crises, remember no good book ends in second chapter because after that the third chapter which could be resolution and the fourth chapter which could be bliss. So if u want your book to end at that level of bliss, then you have to make it work and work it out. It doesnt make sense to get into a relationship without the intention of adding values to your partner. You can never be an effective lover until you be an effective friend.
