What my daughter narrated to me after school should never, ever - TopicsExpress

What my daughter narrated to me after school should never, ever happen again! Its only now that I realize the worst could have happened! Just imagining it sends shivers down my spine, and she says she thank Jesus that they didnt panic but quickly reported the incident that was to be the worst disaster in the histroy of her school! She says only God intervened. Here is the story as told by my daugher, (12) to me. Theyve been standing in as prefects this whole week so she is assigned to grade 2s. We drop them very early at school because still have to drop their brother at another school further from theirs. She says while going about her prefect duties this morning she was alerted to SIX young boys from grade 2 who climbed up the (tall) wall fencing of the school, jumped over the busy Settlers Way to pick up a ball that had gone over the wall. After quickly alerting the principal they watched taxis (now you know Avanzas on that route those who know Settlers Way), and TRUCKS trying to spare the lives of these little ones who were just running amok on R72!! I told her to stop narrating as I couldnt bear the sight in my imagination! By Gods manifold mercies and grace not one child was harmed in that madness. What prompted them to jump high fences at school no one knows! There is absolutely no negligence on the part of the school, as far as my assessment of the matter is concerned. The school yard is secure with all entrances on the other side, and large grounds for kids to play. My daugher says the school principal has summoned the parents of the boys to school in order to report the matter to them. Phew! That road is so hectic that our own children are accompanied to and from school, it is at its worst in the mornings. Moreover, this a high-density Truck route with tankers and removals going about their way! We hear sirens every single morning on this road, so those kids were really under Gods heavy protection. We really thank Him for His divine intervention on this one, it could have been another N12 story Im telling you. R72 is a very busy road in the mornings and later in the afternoon. Its a route that goes to PE and beyond. #Thankful
