What on earth are the powers that be doing messing about with Ebola? It is a rampant and horrible disease that is sadly creeping across parts of Africa. A Spanish missionary returns and dies of Ebola, now a nurse who dealt with him simply touched her cheek with a contaminated glove and appears to have it. A man returns to the US and dies of it. A policeman walking into the deceaseds flat now has it. This thing is so contagious and the people dealing with victims in Africa are the bravest of the brave but we should not be putting our people at risk like this. If I were in the navy again I would willingly go to war as I did, but I would suffer a court martial rather than sail on RFA Argus to the epicentre of Ebola with 750 British troops on board. It is a hospital ship, send it to Gaza by all means but not there, its too dangerous. An Australian woman has returned fit as a fiddle only to have started to suffer what could be Ebola some time later, OK she stayed in her flat and away from people after returning but will everybody? This is now too dangerous to be nice over, it is going to become a pandemic. When and if a cure is found it can be looked at again but now the government is playing Russian roulette with this countries health.
