What one previous scholarship recipient has to say... I am extremely thankful to have received a scholarship to attend the 2013 ACCT Conference in Nevada. Being gifted with a chance to attend the conference meant that I was able to join many colleagues in networking, sharing ideas and learning about new advancements in our industry. Over the years I have worked as a facilitator, guide, trainer, and course manager. At the ACCT conference I was able to to attend sessions and meet other professionals that engage in similar work. I also appreciated the opportunity to sit in on board meetings and learn what issues various committees are engaged in. For me, one of the most memorable moments was attending the pre-conference workshop being co-presented by Michelle Cummings and Karl Rohnke, and then using some of the material I had learned shortly thereafter.
