What pisses me off is complete ignorance. Now, I dont consider myself to be a very good Muslim but when I can hear my maid and my sister learning how to recite Arabic prayers in the next room where neither the teacher nor the students know the meaning of the words they are reciting, I get pissed off. Every few seconds, the teacher would correct how to pronounce a certain word, but WHAT IS THE POINT WHEN THEY DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT MEANS?? Im 100% sure that God isnt monolingual and only understands Arabic. If someone writes you a letter in French, would you sit there and read it or would you translate it? Whether its the Quran or the Bible or the Torah, theyre all essentially letters from God. So what is the point in reading it aimlessly without understanding the message it brings??
