What r ur new years traditions? Here are some my culture practices. 1. 12 grapes. Eat the grapes in less than 1 minute. It symbolizes good luck for every month of the year. 2. Wear red underwear for good luck in your love life. 3. Sweep the old year out the back door. 4. Kiss ur beloved....just because. Since moving here, I cook black eyed peas and smothered cabbage but Im not quite sure why that tradition exists. Im used to tamales or menudo/pozole, buñuelos etc for our dinner on new years eve.
