What saddens me the most is when I see children using extreme measures, striving for the attention of a parent who is stuck in a phone or tablet. Even if it means the child has to do something wrong. But hey, at least they succeeded in their attempt to getting mom or dad to look up! Go to the park and see how many times you hear kids hollering for mom or dad to watch them do this or that. Then listen to the halfhearted reply of I see ya without even looking up. Then watch the kids heart break as he or she realizes that the electronic device is more important than they are.
