What scent or scents do you associate to cleanliness? Whats that - TopicsExpress

What scent or scents do you associate to cleanliness? Whats that scent that makes you smile? For me, it used to be bleach, but then I started studying into how toxic and carcinogenic it is, and decided to use it only in dire sanitation issues. I use it maybe once a year, for black mold or body fluids. So thats what the smell of bleach means to me now. The scents that make me feel happy in association to something having been freshly cleaned are lemon and eucalyptus. I came across an all natural product, a wood floor wash that had hints of cedar wood and juniper berry, with what I think may also be some rose scent and other things too.. They dont really tell you the actual scents or combinations on the bottles, because its obviously proprietary. Ive spent the last year trying to recreate that scent, and studying scent combinations to figure out how they compliment each other. Lavender is a nice scent, but its almost cliché by now. Yawnsville. And while lemony fresh will always be classic, and associated to cleanliness, Im going to be working with lemon grass, which has a slight earthy/woods tone. And back to my original question, what scents do you like for cleaning?
