What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?— Romans 6:1-2 —The Bible is clear that sin is what separates us from God. Choosing not to confess our sin and turn from it is like cutting the communication lines with God. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear Psalm 68:18. Confession means to say the same thing about our sin that God says about it. And agreeing with God is always good for the soul.
