What she said.................................... I personally dont believe In asking for cures for diseases or viruses because there is no profit in cures. The profit is in the treatment... With that being said... Sickle Cell Warriors, stop asking and waiting for the FDA, a scientist or doctor to produce a widely accessible cure for Sickle Cell when they supposedly cant even cure a common cold. Take control of your own mind and body and find out how to protect yourself internally. Im not talking about just wearing a jacket when its cold and drinking lots of water. I mean find out how the body works and what the body needs and start feeding it right. Stop thinking in limitations of what you dont have time for and what you cant afford... What you cant afford is another trip the hospital, another week missed from school, work, or your family. You cant afford another close call or a stroke, heart attack, seizure or acute chest. You cant afford more bone deterioration, you cant afford a ticking time bomb in your body because your mind is stuck in whats scary, strange or inconvenient right now... You cant afford to lose this battle because of simply lacking to find and accept new information... We dont have the option of being closed minded if you want to survive this fight PERIOD
