What strikes me about Romans 8:3 is that YAHSHUA(Jesus) had the same nature as you and I. Yet He overcame lustful desires. He walked our walk to be an example. And Romans 8 is telling us that the Spirit in us is telling us to choose. Either the old nature which is flesh (lusts) that the old law condemns you to death. Or the new law that saves us through the Spirit of truth and grace. I sit hear at 2:47 in the morning and hear His voice lovingly urging me to choose between the old nature of flesh and death that persuades us of worldly lusts or the new nature that is not of this worlds thinking but that brings joy and peace and everlasting life.
