What the heck?? O.o Mr. Pets has listed on CL for their part time position AGAIN!!! Ive put my resume in like 4 times in the last year, every time theyre looking for help, Im right there, like hello?? One of the girls at the register even knows me well - Ive been a customer there for two years, and even shes put in a good word for me many times. What the crap?! I am getting so damn tired of practically begging for work. Youd think having all of the experience I do in the pet care industry, that it would be a no-brainer for me to get a job pretty much anywhere in pet services. But no - being a trainer makes me overqualified. Even worse, it makes me a conflict of interest, as apparently I cant work at any other pet business because of their non-compete clause. Absolute bullshit. >:( This is so ridiculous. Cant work from home legally, (putting out my proposal next month, figure the new Council had some time to settle in after elections) and cant work anywhere else in pet services, because people are all worried about competition. Cant work in regular sales or retail due to my social anxiety issues (theres a reason I work from home). Cant go on disability because my spouse makes too much money, but not enough to take care of my financial needs as well (and nor would I ever expect him to). I am so done. Seriously, I need to pay my friggin bills, man. Tired of being rejected every time I try my hardest to put on a positive face. *grumbles* >______
