What the hell is with all these articles on how Breastfeeding is best and that women who dont have children are selfish and failures? To the breastfeeding advocates, Im sorry but breastfeeding is overrated, there I said it. Just because you breastfeed isnt going to turn your child into the next Einstein, formula if just as good. I bottle feed, and my son isnt any worse off. He is learning fast and he is perfectly healthy. Just because your using formula doesnt mean that your not giving your baby the best chance. As for it supporting their immune system, brain development ect, formula does the same! Also, some women cant breastfeed, when you judge women who arent breastfeeding, consider that would you and dont be so ignorant. Now this might sound selfish and vein but cracked sore nipples, potentially creating saggy boobs that you could through over your shoulder, having to go to somewhere private just to feed a baby and still breast feeding when the baby is a toddler just isnt for me. Now for women who choose not to have children. Its there choice. If they value their career more than having children, thats not selfish or being a failure, its called being realistic. Babies need your attention 24/7 and if women who value their career know they wouldnt be able to give them that attention, in my opinion they are doing their unborn child a favour. People who think that women are meant to breed rather than have a career or balance both should not be so narrow minded. That is all
