What the media wont show you.... On October 4th, a young man of utter brillance, incredible sportsmanship and stellar integrity died suddenly. Tracie Marie, his aunt and my Abitta bling stylist, was heartbroken as we talked and prayed together. Then, I saw his picture. He bore an eerily striking resemblance to my brother-cousin, Kendall D. Brooks. I immediately erupted into tears. However, the most powerful picture of all was of the young athletes beautiful mother, ShaRon, being surrounded by her sons teammates. They rallied around her and held up her arms in that excruciating valley. Some individuals would probably take one glance at these young men and cast immediate suspicion upon them. However, beneath their external shells of mahogany and mocha, sand and bronze, chestnut and golden are hearts of deep compassion outlined through the color that matters the most - the crimson blood of Jesus. Several young men (approximately 90, I believe) accepted Christ into their hearts at Kahlins funeral. 90 young men publicly denounced the plan of the enemy for their lives. 90 young men will go and reproduce the heart of God in the earth.
