What to Expect During a Reiki Healing Session: During the Reiki healing session, the receiver will be fully clothed and lay comfortably on a massage table. Soothing music is often played to assist in relaxation. You may be covered with a blanket for additional warmth and comfort. If the receiver has questions or wishes to talk, I will respond however I will not initiate conversation which may be disruptive and intrusive in some cases. I gently place my hands lightly on different parts of your body or hover my healing hands a few inches above the body in different sequences. Reiki energy is transmitted and flows through my hands. The recipient may share experiences of warmth or coolness, immediate improvement or profound inner shifts. Others may not be able to describe experiencing anything. Regardless of each individual’s perceptions, there is always an impact from a Reiki session and further results often occur over time.
