What to do when Clavamox, then doxy, Tussigon, theophylline and pred dont take away the cough? Chewys teeth are so infected and he was just cleared for surgery yesterday. He only has a grade 2 murmur so its not a heart cough. He does have a collapsing trachea but the theophylline and Tussigon combo dont touch it. The only thing to take the edge off is pred, which Ive been giving and hate to with any kind of murmur. Chewy and I got no sleep last night. Its way worse at night and it just started again as we crawl into bed with hopes of some sort of sleep tonight. Poor baby boy.
