What warped thinking puts oil spills in a positive light? The fact that the UCB reports discussion papers starts with economic impact and that the environmenal impact is not the number one paper is very telling. Why does economy always upstage environment? Even if you are questioning the term global warming, you must see with your own eyes that there are cities where air pollution keeps people in, or water that people cannot drink, amongst myriad detrimental human consquences, largely due to fossil fuels. We do need a national energy strategy which puts health first. This priority will cascade into saving water and air and animals, and us.
