What we call NATURE on our beautiful blue planet, has existed for 4 1/2 billion years. MANKIND has been around for 100 000 years, and some say maybe as much as 200 000. Mankind has been "industrial" for less than 200 years. The earth has been through some major catastrophic events in its history... for example, asteroid collisions with world wide extinctions, the magnetic reversal of the poles, and multiple ice ages. The earth has changed faces many times. It is still the beautiful blue planet. It does not care or need us to be the dominant species participating in its global environment... taking care of it. Nature only requires us to coexist with the rest of the planet. Let us say we nuke the whole planet like the disease that we may be. Give nature another 100 000 years and where will she be? What wonders will she create? What beauty will exist then? What a beautiful blue planet the Earth will become again... in time. What will that mighty dollar, euro or any monetary denomination that we worship so much, have to do with anything. The elite 5% of the population that controls 95% of the "money" (and government for that matter)... that makes "the world go around"... Bravo! You have done such a good job. Nature is at the point that mankind, and like any other species that has reached overpopulation... and is groping the land of its resources, and cannot coexist in harmony, requires a correction. Nature is simple... and violent. So the question that I ask you is... Is it the PLANET EARTH that is in trouble and requires saving? (as our self righteous, arrogant thinking is plastering around the world in the media)... or is it MANKIND that is in trouble because he is not capable of adapting to the planet because of his greed? ... and we are going to "SAVE THE WORLD" when we cannot even recognize that we are the problem and we are not willing even to save ourselves. The world does not require any saving. MANKIND is the one that needs to be saved.
