What we do here in Hull Homeless Outreach is not only feeding some homeless and giving them some clothes, we also provide them with a brief window where they can socialise and have decent conversation with us and other homeless people. This they all appreciate very much, as many of them can go for many days with no conversation at all apart from recieving abuse from the ignorant while on the streets, they look forward to seeing us very much just so they can have those couple of hours where they are made to feel human once more and are given hope. There are a number of homeless charities out there who are doing a marvelous job in feeding and clothing the Homeless community, however what we do is just a little more in the fact we go out on the streets with the homeless community and offer them some hope. What we do is not the Christian thing to do, it is the Human thing to do.
