What we need to do as a country, is demand that we bring back Equal Air Time Laws. Now this law stated that any station air, water, tv, cable, satellite, or any means of broadcasting, required to give equal air time to all parties. If you give 5 minutes to a republican, you have to give 5 minutes to the democrats, libertarians, independents, etc. etc. etc. etc. Visa versa. Of coarse this will kill am radio, but the benefits would be no Faux (Fox) news being Republicans, and MSNBC being democrats, also CNNs bullshit.. It forces all networks to be fair and impartial. And they cannot be affiliated with any known political party.... So you know this law was in effect for quite a while, it was not until bush administration and the republican ran senate and congress of the time to get rid of this law....
