What weather is in store for the week ahead? Well, not bad for mid-January. Temperatures are expected to be mostly above normal through the first half of the week and then just near normal for the later half. A series of weak weather systems will skirt by...mainly to the north. However...we will be keeping our eye on a stronger weather system currently slated to remain south of the area late in the week. For now...though...just expecting light precipitation amounts this week...with no major intrusions of Arctic air. We will be closely monitoring the track and progression of the southern U.S. system late in the week in the event that it decides to track further north.
